| A 'new style' house incorporating
prefabricated components and a main support frame. This project is being developed with
specific spaces supported on a site-assembled steel frame.
This is an indeterminate frame
giving flexibility in the arrangement of space and
limiting the extent of the foundations.
Garden walls are proposed at
ground floor level merging the house with the landscape.
A spiral entrance stairs leads
to the hall with links to specific living spaces.
An external living area and
outdoor deck leads down to the pool.
There is a kitchen/dining space
and enclosed living space for winter evenings. Computer
and TV rooms are planned for 21st century living.
The house is being developed to
be 'eco' friendly and self sufficient with heat recovery
systems, burners and generators suspended from the frame,
with solar roof panels, all integrated into the concept.
